Crystal Clear Imaging
Don’t let the small size fool you. This module can snap static images with a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels and supports dedicated video recording at 1080p @ 30fps, 720p @ 60fps, and VGA @ 90fps. Whether you are monitoring your 3D printer with OctoPrint or building a face-detection door lock, the image quality is sharp and reliable.
Direct CSI Connection
Unlike bulky USB webcams, this module uses the dedicated CSI interface designed specifically for cameras. This provides high bandwidth for video data while reducing CPU load, ensuring your Raspberry Pi runs smoothly even during heavy processing tasks.
Broad Compatibility
The module works out-of-the-box with the standard Raspberry Pi OS (formerly Raspbian). It includes a 15-pin ribbon cable compatible with full-sized models like the Raspberry Pi 4, 3B+, and 3B.
(Note: To use this with a Pi Zero or Zero 2 W, you will need a specific “Zero Camera Cable” adapter).
