The Reliable Industry Standard
The NEO-M8N has long been the backbone of the drone world, offering an exceptional balance of performance and value. Unlike older 6M or 7M modules, the M8N from RoboShop BD uses a 72-channel engine to receive signals from GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou/Galileo at the same time. This multi-constellation support ensures you maintain a high satellite count even in challenging environments, resulting in a position accuracy of up to 0.6 to 0.9 meters.
Integrated Digital Compass & Protection
To ensure accurate navigation, this module includes an internal HMC5883L (or IST8310) magnetometer. By housing the compass inside the GPS unit and mounting it on an elevated mast, you move the sensor away from the electromagnetic interference caused by your drone’s power wires and motors. The module comes enclosed in a protective plastic shell and features an onboard rechargeable battery for “warm starts,” allowing it to re-acquire a satellite fix in just seconds after a battery swap.
